LiAir X3-H Lever Arm Offsets Measurement Guide

Features

Lever Arm Offsets Measurement:
Measurement Coordinate System: X is measured along the right angle horizontal axis to the flying direction, left to the flying direction is negative and right is positive. Y is measured along the flying direction, forward is the positive and backward is the negative. Z is the vertical direction, up is positive and down is negative.
Step 1: Measure the distance between the measurement reference point of the LiAir device and the center point of the antenna (measure for two antennas separately).

Step 2: Conversion of lever arm offsets, the conversion formulas are as follows:

GNSS1: X = x1 + 12.5 Y = y1 + 30.3 Z = z1 – 26.6
GNSS2: X = x2 + 12.5 Y = y2 + 30.3 Z = z2 – 26.6

Note: x1, y1, z1, x2, y2, z2 are the measured values from the center point of the antenna to the measurement reference point of the LiAir device. Make sure the +/- signs are substituted when calculating.

Antenna Installation Requirements:
1. GNSS antennas are installed forward and backward along the flight direction.
2. The Installation direction of the GNSS1 antenna is the opposite of the flying direction (back).
3. The Installation direction of the GNSS2 antenna is the flying direction (front).
4. Distance between GNSS1 and GNSS2 must be at least 100mm or larger.
